Regional Vice President Asia-Pacific, IATA
Philip Goh is Regional Vice President, Asia-Pacific, for the International Air Transport Association (IATA). IATA's mission is to represent, lead and serve the airline industry, and brings together some 290 airlines, including the world's largest. Flights by IATA’s members account for 82% of global air traffic.
Philip represents IATA in the Asia-Pacific region, which comprises 37 countries and territories and more than 40 IATA member airlines. He leads IATA’s efforts on safety, sustainability and recovery of international travel from COVID-19.
Philip has more than 30 years of experience in the airline industry and has extensive experience working throughout the Asia-Pacific region. He has held various senior management roles at Singapore Airlines, including as Regional Vice President for South East Asia, for South West Pacific, and for West Asia and Africa. He also served a three-year term in London at SIA’s then associate airline company Virgin Atlantic Airways, and as SIA Country General Manager for Japan prior to his various regional responsibilities.
Philip holds a Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Estate Management with Honours from the National University of Singapore. He speaks English and Chinese.
